Signing a document on your phone
Draw your signature, fill your name and date, and submit.
For everyoneUpdated 31 August 2026
When a task asks you to sign a document, it opens the document with the fields your organisation placed on it.
- Open the task from the Tasks tab.
- Read the document. Scroll through every page — you are signing all of it, not just the page with the box.
- Under Your signature, draw your signature with your finger. Clear and redraw if you are not happy with it.
- Fill in your full name and the date if those fields are present.
- Submit. The signed document is stored against your record.
You cannot submit until a signature has actually been drawn — an empty pad is rejected rather than silently accepted.
Practices
- Sign on a device you control. Your signature is legally yours.
- If the document is wrong, do not sign it and then complain. Raise it with your manager first — a submitted signature is a record.
- Signed documents are stored privately and served through short-lived links, never public URLs. You can see your own under Profile → Documents.
