Getting help

Who to ask, and what to include so it can be answered.

For everyoneUpdated 31 August 2026

Who to ask

  • Employees — ask your manager. Almost everything you need (account access, PIN, shifts, leave) is theirs to change.
  • Managers — ask an administrator for anything under Settings, roles, or the plan.
  • Administrators — you hold the settings. For billing state, suspension or platform issues, contact your Slota operator.

What to include

A report that can be answered has four things:

  1. What you did — the page, and the button you pressed.
  2. What you expected.
  3. What happened instead — the exact on-screen message, quoted. Slota surfaces real errors rather than failing silently, so that message is usually the whole answer.
  4. When, and who it affected — one person or everyone.

Before reporting

  • Refresh the page, or pull-to-refresh on mobile.
  • Check whether the schedule was published, and whether a filter is on.
  • Check whether the action needs a role you do not have — the message will say so.
